I am glad to meet you all today. I congratulate each of you for your success in a tough examination that tests your hard work, perseverance, capability and determination. Your journey as officers of the prestigious service will be full of immense opportunities and challenges.
Visitor’s Awards के सभी विजेताओं को मैं हार्दिक बधाई देती हूं। यह पुरस्कार Innovation, Research तथा Technology Development के क्षेत्रों में उनके असाधारण योगदान को मान्यता देने का एक महत्वपूर्ण माध्यम है। मुझे आशा है कि हमारे देश में उच्च शिक्षा से जुड़े लोग इन क्षेत्रों में अनेक नए प्रतिमान स्थापित करेंगे।
आज उपाधि प्राप्त करने वाले सभी विद्यार्थियों को मैं हृदय से बधाई देती हूं। पदक प्राप्त करने वाले विद्यार्थियों की मैं विशेष सराहना करती हूं। उच्च शिक्षा के लिए आपने Forensic Sciences का क्षेत्र चुना इसके लिए मैं आप सभी विद्यार्थियों और आपके अभिभावकों की प्रशंसा करती हूं।

आप सबने लीक से हटकर अपने शिक्षण और कार्यक्षेत्र का चयन किया है। इस क्षेत्र का महत्व निरंतर बढ़ रहा है।
I am glad to be here today with you. I find the atmosphere here quite pleasing and inspiring. Ahmedabad is home to some of the most distinctive educational initiatives in post-Independence India, and the National Institute of Design is one of them.
आज महाशिवरात्रि के पावन अवसर पर आयोजित इस सामूहिक विवाह समारोह में शामिल होकर मुझे हार्दिक प्रसन्नता हो रही है। हम सब के ऊपर देवाधिदेव महादेव की कृपा बनी रहे तथा हमारा देश और समाज प्रगति के पथ पर आगे बढ़े, यही मेरी प्रार्थना है।
यहां उपस्थित सभी नव-विवाहित दम्पतियों को मैं अपना आशीर्वाद देती हूं और उनके सुखमय वैवाहिक जीवन की कामना करती हूं। आपको परिणय सूत्र में बांधने और आपके जीवन में खुशी का यह अवसर उत्पन्न करने के लिए मैं, श्री धीरेंद्र कृष्ण शास्त्री जी और श्री बागेश्वर धाम जन सेवा समिति की सराहना करती हूं।
बिहार की इस पुण्यभूमि को मैं सादर नमन करती हूं। भारतीय अध्यात्म का केंद्र रही यह भूमि, माता सीता, भगवान महावीर और भगवान बुद्ध की पावन स्थली है। महात्मा गांधी ने भारत में अंग्रेजों के खिलाफ आंदोलन की प्रेरणा भी यहीं से ली। यही भूमि देश के प्रथम राष्ट्रपति आदरणीय डॉक्टर राजेंद्र प्रसाद की जन्म-भूमि है।

It is a historic milestone as the Birla Institute of Technology Mesra, which has contributed immensely to the developmental saga of our nation, completes 70 years. My heartiest congratulations to you and to everyone associated with this pioneering institute on its Platinum Jubilee!
I am happy to be among so many book lovers present here at the inauguration of this Book Fair. I am told that the National Book Trust and the Ministry of Education have been organizing this book fair for the past five decades. I appreciate their sustained contribution to the great cause of promoting the culture of reading books.
