I am indeed delighted to address and interact with the students of different schools of Sambalpur district. My greetings to the Principals, teachers and all students. I have met over 4,00,000 students/youths of our country. I am aware of their dreams and concern. I thought of sharing some thoughts based on that experience.
Story of atom and Human species
India's 70 crore people live in villages. The government is committed to develop the six lakh villages with all the basic facilities available to urban areas without damaging the traditional culture. Important areas of actions are education, healthcare, water supply sanitation , power, roads. We cannot say that India is developed unless all our villages are developed. For all these your cooperation and contribution is essential. For this the village panchayat need to play an important role.

President meets 96 yrs old MP
President received a letter stating that Shri. Ramachandra veerapa, Honourable member of Loksabha, 96 yrs old, is ailing in Gangaram hospital and he desired to meet the President.
He is a member of the 14th Loksabha and has been elected to the house continuously for 8 times.
President visited and met Shri. Ramachandra Veerapa at Gangaram hospital on 12 June 2004 and wished him fast recovery. President also enquired about possible medical care for the Honorable MP from the specialist doctors.

I am indeed delighted to participate in the launching of the people foundation for development of enlightened citizenship in continuation of the spiritual meet at Surat where H.H. Acharya Mahaprajna was present. I greet the spiritual leaders, intellectuals, thinkers, social reformers and Gandhians for participating in this mission. When I am with this distinguished audience I would like to share the spiritual pilgrimage I experienced during my visits to Bihar and Jammu & Kashmir.

I am indeed delighted to participate in the Indo-US conference on Space science, application and commerce. Friends, the Indian and the US space teams have worked together for 16,000 to 20,000 hours for evolving cooperative space missions and programmes. It is heartening to note the scientists, administrators, and technologists of two nations meeting together to evolve a plan of action for a longstanding co-operation. I am sure you have done that.
