I Feel That Nations That Are Strong in Today?s World Have a Certain Degree of Technological Superiority Over Other Nations. What Need to Be Done in India to Encourage the Development of Superior Technology and What is the Government?s Role in That?

I see India?s main problem as primary education. That is where creativity has to come. At present our educational system puts too much emphasis on bookish knowledge at that stage. At the same time we are trying to increase the number of IITs and having joint co-operation with foreign institutions and companies.
