Railway Probationers Call On The President

A Group Of 56 Probationers Of Indian Railway Accounts Service (Iras), Indian Railway Personnel Service (Irps) And Indian Railways Service Of Stores Called On The President Of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee Today (May 27, 2013) At Rashtrapati Bhavan. Twenty-nine Per Cent Of This Group Of Probationers From Seventeen States Were Ladies.

Addressing the probationers, the President congratulated them on their success in a very difficult competitive examination. He said that they are joining the great task of nation building by serving Indian Railways and they must dedicate their life and services to the cause of this country. He said that the Indian Railways has been a great unifier of this country and they were fortunate to have the opportunity to serve this great organization.

Also present on the occasion were Chairman, Railway Board and Director General of National Academy of Indian Railways, Vadodara.
