Prime Minister Calls On President

The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and Smt. Gursharan Kaur greeted the President Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil on the occasion of Diwali at Rashtrapati Bhavan today. The PM also briefed the President about his recent 3-nation tour of Japan, Malaysia and Vietnam and participation in India-ASEAN and East Asia Summit. The two leaders discussed about the forthcoming Session of the Parliament and coming visit of the US President to India. The meeting lasted for about 20 minutes.
