Prime Minister Calls On President

The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh called on the President Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil at Rashtrapati Bhavan today. The meeting lasted for about 45 minutes. The two leaders discussed about the ongoing Session of Parliament, the visit of the French President, the President's just concluded State Visit to the UAE & Syria and the Prime Minister's forthcoming visit to Brussels for attending the EU Summit. They also discussed about the current rate of economic growth in the country and various other issues of national and international importance.
