President's Greetings on the Occasion of Idu'l Fitr

The President, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil, has sent her greetings to fellow countrymen on the occasion of Idu'l Fitr, which falls tomorrow.

In a message, the President has said, "On the joyous occasion of Idu'l Fitr, I convey my warm wishes to all my citizens in India and abroad.
As we celebrate this day as a day of forgiveness, fellowship, thanksgiving and moral victory, I hope that the occasion with its tradition of giving and sharing will infuse the spirit of unity and harmony in us."
