President Visits Kerala and Tamil Nadu From October 31 to November 2

The President, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil, has proceeded on a three-day visit to Kerala and Tamil Nadu today afternoon. She will address the Public Reception Programme at Central Stadium in Thiruvanthapuram on November 1, the Foundation Day of Kerala, and release the document on Clean Kerala Mission, Logo of Kerala State Total Physical Fitness programme and inaugurate the distribution of Scholarships for Higher Education to students. On 2nd November, the President will deliver the 17th Convocation Address of Mother Teresa Women's University in Chennai and return to New Delhi on the same day in the evening.
