President to Stay at Rashtrapati Nilayam in Secunderabad and Visit Nearby States and Areas From December 21, 2007 to January 6, 2008

The President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil will stay at Rashtrapati Nilayam at Secunderabad and attend various official programmes from December 21, 2007 to January 6, 2008.

The President will visit Puducherry on December 21st, where she will attend the inaugural function of the 34th Jawahar Lal Nehru National Science Exhibition for Children-2007. On December 22nd, the President will visit the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Auroville, the Ashram school and the Painting Exhibition.

The President will be on an official tour to the Andaman & Nicobar Islands from December 26th to 28th where she will be visiting the rehabilitation work sites in the Tsunami affected areas and interacting with the islanders.

At Hyderabad, the President will attend various programmes organised by the State Government and the Ministry of Defence including visit to the Defence Research Establishments and the Air Force Training Institute.
