President Pratibha Patil Condoles Loss of Lives in Bangladesh Hurricane

The President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil has condoled the loss of lives due to the recent hurricane in Bangladesh.

Smt. Patil in her condolence message to the President of Bangladesh, Professor (Dr.) Iajuddin Ahmed, has said she is deeply saddened to learn about the tragic loss of lives and substantial damage to property in the aftermath of the hurricane and has conveyed her deep condolences to the President and the people of Bangladesh. Smt. Patil has also said she is confident that, as always, the people of Bangladesh will face this tragedy with courage and fortitude.
