President of India Greets His Holiness Dr. Syedna Mohd. Burhanuddin on His Birthday

The President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil has greeted the leader of the Dawoodi Bohra community, His Holiness Dr. Syedna Mohd. Burhanuddin on his birthday today.

In a message, the President has said, "I am delighted to know that you are entering the 100th year of your life today.

During your many years of leadership of the Dawoodi Bohra Community you have promoted harmonious relationship amongst societies and between religious beliefs. You have also been a patriot, who has guided the Dawoodi Bohra Community in India with vision.

I extend my greetings and felicitations to you on your birthday, and send my good wishes for your continued leadership of the community."
