President of India Condoles the Passing Away of Shri Bhajan Lal

The President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil has condoled the passing away of Shri Bhajan Lal.

In her condolence message, the President has said, "Shri Bhajan Lal was a veteran Parliamentarian and an able administrator who served the nation in different spheres. He was always concerned about the welfare and upliftment of the poor, downtrodden and especially the farmers. In his passing away, the nation has lost a grass root politician and an eminent public figure."
