President Of India Condoles Passing Away Of Ram Nivas Mirdha

The President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil has condoled the passing away of veteran public figure, Shri Ram Nivas Mirdha.

In her condolence message, to the late leader's son, Harender Mirdha, the President has said, "Shri Mirdha was a well known parliamentarian and an able administrator who served the nation in different spheres. He was also closely associated with developmental activities at various levels in Rajasthan during his long public career. Shri Mirdha was always concerned about the welfare of the people in rural areas. In his passing away the nation has a lost a personality who was always in touch with the grassroots of society."
