President Congratulates Sachin Tendulkar On Grand Double Achievement

The President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil has congratulated Sachin Tendulkar for his grand double achievement in the Gwalior One-Day International Cricket match against South Africa today.

The President has said Sachin Tendulkar has yet again re-written the record books of cricket, by climbing yet another Mt. Everest of the game. The President has also said, that in setting a new benchmark for the highest score by a batsman in One-Day 50 overs cricket, as well as notching-up a double century, the master batsman has set stiff targets to break for future generation of cricketers.
