President Condoles Passing Away of Governor of Rajasthan

The President, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil has condoled the passing away of the Governor of Rajasthan, Shri S.K. Singh.

In her condolence message the President has said, "Shri S.K. Singh was a distinguished diplomat, who served in important diplomatic positions in countries in our immediate neighbourhood. The diplomatic community respected his rich experience in international relations and he distinguished himself during his term as India's Foreign Secretary. Shri S.K. Singh also had deep interest in the arts and culture. In his passing away we have lost an eminent public servant."
