President Appoints Some Governors

The President has been pleased to make the following appointments:-
1. Shri Shiv Charan Mathur as Governor of Assam vice Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Ajai Singh, PVSM, AVSM.
2. Shri Balmiki Prasad Singh as Governor of Sikkim vice Shri Sudarshan Agarwal.
3. Shri Ranjit Shekhar Mooshahary as Governor of Meghalaya vice Dr. S.S. Sidhu.
4. Shri R.S. Gavai, Governor of Bihar transferred and appointed as Governor of Kerala for the remainder of his term vice Shri. R.L. Bhatia.
5. Shri R.L. Bhatia, Governor of Kerala transferred and appointed as Governor of Bihar for the remainder of his term vice Shri R.S. Gavai.
