President Allocates Portfolios to 6 Cabinet Ministers

The President of India, as advised by the Prime Minister, has been pleased to direct the allocation of portfolios among the following members of the Union Council of Ministers: -

1 Shri Pranab Mukherjee - Finance

2 Shri Sharad Pawar - Agriculture, Food & Civil Supplies, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution

3 Shri A.K. Antony - Defence

4 Shri P. Chidambaram - Home

5 Km. Mamata Banerjee - Railways

6 Shri S.M. Krishna - External Affairs

Ministries that have remained unallocated, will be looked after by the Prime Minister.
