New Year's Day At Rashtrapati Bhavan

The President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil spent the first day of the New Year 2010 with dignitaries as well as a group of school children from New Delhi and its surrounding areas.
The Vice-President of India, Shri Mohammad Hamid Ansari and his wife Smt. Salma Ansari, The Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh and his wife Smt. Gursharan Kaur and the Speaker of the Lok Sabha, Smt. Meira Kumar visited Rashtrapati Bhavan to greet the President on the occasion.
The President also received greetings from a large group of children from various schools of Delhi and its surrounding areas such as Bahadurgarh, Faridabad and Ujina District in Haryana and Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh.
