Mughal Gardens to Be Opened for Public Viewing on Specific Days Exclusively for Special Category of Persons

The Mughal Garden and other Gardens of Rashtrapati Bhavan will be opened for public viewing, exclusively for special category of persons from March 12 to 15.

The designated days shall be as follows:-

(1) March 12 (Thursday)- for physically challenged persons

(2) March 13 (Friday) - for visually challenged persons

(3) March 14 (Saturday) - for Defence & Para Military Personnel

(4) March 15 (Sunday) - for farmers

These categories of persons can visit the Gardens from 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM. Entry into the Gardens will be only upto 1600 hrs through Gate No.35, which is located near North Avenue.

Physically challenged persons visiting on their designated day, using wheelchairs will be allowed entry through the Rashtrapati Bhavan Reception. Such persons can arrive through Hukmi Mai Marg or Rajpath along with their escorts.

Entry and Exit for the visually challenged on their designated day would be through Gate No. 12, near North Avenue.

Visitors are requested not to bring water bottles, briefcases, handbags/ladies purses, cameras, radios/transistors, cell phones, umbrellas, arms/ammunitions and eatables. These articles will have to be deposited at the entry points at the owner's risk.
