Children From Andhra Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Gujarat, West Bengal and Assam Meet President on Children's Day

A group of about 120 children including those affected by HIV met the President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil at Rashtrapati Bhavan on the occasion of Children's day. These children were from the states of Andhra Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Gujarat, West Bengal and Assam. They were accompanied by officials of the Guild of Service ( North India).
The President commended the children for their bravery and wished them a happy future with prosperity. She asked the children to study hard for their good and for the progress of the nation. She also thanked the organisations which had given these children a new life.
