The President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil hosted an 'At Home' at the Mughal Gardens of Rashtrapati Bhavan on January 26, 2012 on the occasion of the 63rd Republic Day. The Chief Guest at this year's Republic Day Celebrations, the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, H.E. Ms. Yingluck Shinawatra also attended the function. The Vice-President of India, Shri Hamid Ansari, the Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh, the Speaker of the Lok Sabha, Smt. Meira Kumar, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of India, Mr. Justice S.H. Kapadia, members of the Union Council of Ministers, diplomats, senior officials of the Government of India, as well as prominent citizens were also present.
