President’s Vaisakhi Greetings

The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee in his message on the occasion of Vaisakhi has said: -

Vaisakhi, which signifies the traditional New Year and the beginning of the harvest season, reminds us of the important role of farmers in our economy. Vaisakhi is not only an occasion to celebrate but also a time to strengthen our resolve to contribute effectively to the nation's prosperity, unity and fraternity. Let us, on this joyous occasion resolve to fortify the secular and social fabric of our country.
May this harvest festival promote the spirit of unity, amity and love among all.”
