President of India’s Message on the Eve of National Day of Qatar

The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Emir and people of the State of Qatar on the eve of the National Day of the State of Qatar (December 18, 2014).

In his message toHis Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the State of Qatar, the President has said, "On behalf of the Government and the people of India and on my own behalf, it gives me great pleasure to extend warm greetings and felicitations to you and to the friendly people of the State of Qatar on the occasion of your National Day.

India greatly values its close and time-tested relations with the State of Qatar, which are deeply rooted in history. We look forward to further strengthening and deepening our multifaceted ties for the mutual benefit of our two countries.
