The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee will visit Uttarakhand tomorrow (March 17, 2013) to attend the First Convocation of Indian Institute of Management, Kashipur.
IIM Kashipur came into existence in March 2010 with constitution of IIM Kashipur Society and the First Board of Governors under the Chairmanship of Shri Dhruv M. Sawhney. The Institute commenced its operations with the First Batch of PGPM in July 2011 under the mentorship of IIM Lucknow. As mentoring institution, IIM Lucknow ran IIM Kashipur through a Task Force till the joining of its First Director, Dr. Gautam Sinha in May 2012.
