There is a Software Technology Park in Srinagar. The CEDT was established quite some time back. The State Government is also now inviting number of entrepreneurs to come forward and set up Software and Electronics Industries in the valley. Because of its clean environment and the cold climate the valley is suitable for electronics and computer hardware.
