The President of the Republic of Korea, H.E. Mr. Lee Myung-bak met the President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on January 25, 2010. The President warmly welcomed the President of the Republic of Korea to India, as the Chief Guest at the 61st Republic Day Parade. They discussed bilateral issues and agreed that there is great potential for strengthening the relationship between the two countries. The President later hosted a Banquet in honour of the visiting President and his wife.
