SUMMER ANNUALS OF AMRIT UDYAN TO OPEN FOR THE PUBLIC FROM AUGUST 16 TO SEPTEMBER 15

The Summer Annuals of Amrit Udyan will be open for the public from August 16 to September 15, 2026. During that period, the Udyan will remain open from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the last entry at 5:00 PM. The Udyan will remain closed on all Mondays for maintenance.

Sportspersons on August 29 and teachers on September 5 will get exclusive access to Amrit Udyan to mark the National Sports Day and Teachers’ Day, respectively.

Entry and exit for visitors will be from Gate No. 35, located near North Avenue Road. Entry to Amrit Udyan will be free of cost. Visitors have to book their slots online at visit.rashtrapatibhavan.gov.in  advance. Booking of slots for a particular day will close at 10.00 AM on the previous day. There will be no on-the-spot booking available.

Visitors can carry mobile phones, electronic keys, purses, handbags, water bottles, baby milk bottles and umbrellas inside the Udyan. Except for these, no other item will be allowed.

For the convenience of the visitors, drinking water stalls, First Aid posts, Rain Shelter and Restrooms will be set up along the route of the visit. A shuttle bus service with the banner ‘SHUTTLE SERVICE FOR AMRIT UDYAN’ will also be available from Central Secretariat Metro Station to the entry point to the Amrit Udyan at an interval of every 30 minutes between 9.30 AM and 6.00 PM.

The Garden trail will include Bal Vatika, Plumeria Garden, Banyan Grove, Bonsai Garden, Babbling Brooks, Central Lawn, Long Garden, and Circular Garden.
